Aaaand we’re back! We’ve been hard at work on a secret project over the last year, and we can finally reveal that we just launched a new version of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime on Amazon Luna!
Luna is showcasing a brand new library of local co-op/party games where everyone can instantly play on their phones using custom-designed controllers for each game.

We spent a lot of time iterating on the phone controller to make it a great experience. Each controller is assigned the colour and character portrait of your chosen hero, to help keep track of who’s who. The default button layout uses a large touchfield where you use taps and long presses to fire turrets, and quick swipes for jumps. It feels surprisingly natural, and there’s no need to look down at your hands to locate buttons. Of course you can also switch to virtual buttons if that’s what you prefer. And it’s still compatible with gamepads too.
On top of that, with the Luna Couch feature, it’s super easy to play online and invite friends to team up, even if they aren’t subscribed to Luna. A wonderful way to finally play Lovers long distance!
We’re super excited to be launching this as part of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime’s 10 year anniversary. Huge thanks to everyone who’s played the game over the years!
